Our first meal in Thailand? At a Japanese restaurant. We’re such newbs! Two doors down from our hotel there was a charming little place called Iori Nabe. Upon entering, we were asked to take off our shoes and escorted to a private hut where we sat on the floor and ate the most delicious chicken and veggie nabe with a side of gyoza and sticky rice. We washed it all down with a large Singha and called it a (good) night.
