Chatuchak Market holds the title of Bangkok’s largest market, it takes place every weekend just a few kilometers outside of the city, and on Sunday we headed out there to check it out. First we devoured a delicious serving of pad thai at one of the local stalls, then slowly started to walk the perimeter of the market. You can literally buy anything imaginable there: clothing, home decor, books, pets (mostly dogs or birds), antiques, etc… You want it, they have it.
After a good go around, we found solace under the shade of an umbrella. Crowds of people passed us by while we sat there and watched. And drank. And talked. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
