Last weekend, my cousin Rachel got married. Married!! It was the first of a handful of events I knew I’d miss when I left for Thailand, not that that made it any easier. I was there when Bernie proposed in Harbor Springs over the fourth of July and I toasted to her future marital bliss during a weekend bridal shower at her home in Denver. I so badly wanted to be there to celebrate the main event. To see her in a gorgeous white gown, watch my uncle walk her down the aisle, and admire their first dance together. And even though I missed my chance, I’d still like to wish them all the best…
